I. AM. NEVER. ALONE

WRITER: Wendy Hatch
Canada

I truly love what this program is promoting...healthy, wholesome, uplifting attitudes with women supporting women to succeed and to fulfill the measurement of our true potential. Women united together in supporting one another and lifting each other up. My story is very simple yet very common. How to find ones self worth after willingly giving all that I could to raising a wonderful family with no regrets for the sacrifices I had to make. When I look at my family, a wonderful husband, a great son and daughter that have grown to be great young adults. I look to them with a great sense of pride that I helped them along the way to be all that they could be a long with a very strong belief in a very wise and kind Heavenly Father that helped me along the way to teach my children correct principles to guide them. Now I find myself an older woman with obsolete skills that now has to enter a very competitive job market to compete with women half my age with more practical skills than I have. Finding the need to reinvent myself all over again and to have the confidence I once had so many years ago. I am very thankful to a very loving supportive family who are my biggest cheerleaders, who pick me up and dust me off and help me to recommit to this journey I am on. To some dear friends who remind me that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, and that I can accomplish many things in this life if I keep the faith and stay the course. I am inspired by a loving husband who has charted his own course in this life, to a son who is many miles away serving a higher purpose and to a daughter that is engaged in such a good cause as this. I am very proud of her and what she is doing. She is talented in so many ways and she teaches me daily how to be a better person. Despite all my challenges, I am so blessed and will continue to chart my course in this life and learn new things along the way, knowing I am never alone.
